The “Inbar Fund” (“The Fund”) was established in memory of Inbar Attiya, victim of the suicide terror attack on Dizengoff Center Tel-Aviv, in March 1996. The Fund’s main objective is to encourage the study and research of terrorism, the causes of its occurence, and ways to handle it strategically, psychologically and physically. The scholarships are awarded to the authors of the best research studies, as determined by the Fund’s professional panel of judges. The panel is elected annually by the Fund’s management board and is comprised of individuals with vast expertise in the fields of security and counter-terrorism. The Fund holds an annual special event in commemoration of Inbar. The dignified event takes place at the Center for Special Studies in Tel-Aviv, and is hosted by the panel of judges. The scholarships and prizes are awarded at the event. The scholarships are offered to high-school and university students, researchers, professors, past and present army servicemen, as well as to any individual who believes in the fund’s goals. The scholarships are awarded once a year at the annual memorial event for Inbar.
